This phased project initially involved the redevelopment of an entire city block, including the adaptive re-use of existing historic structures and new modern infill; mixed-use mercantile, studio, office, and residential. As the clients acquired more properties in the same area, the project continued to expand in both size and scope.
The project has served as a catalyst for revitalization throughout the neighborhood. Masonry restoration, wood detail restoration, roofing, structural repairs, new MEP systems, and site development are all key elements of this project. The project received a Historic Preservation Award from the Historic Savannah Foundation in 2002.
