Background:

 

Jerry Lominack has over 50 years of extensive experience in the practice of architecture. During this time, he has been involved in literally hundreds of projects in Savannah and other communities. His range of project experience various greatly, with a variety of historic preservation clients, military projects, local and federal government work, multi-family housing, custom single-family housing, institutional, public work, and a wide range of commercial projects. Many of his projects have received design awards from AIA, Historic Savannah Foundation, and other organizations.

 

He actively participates in the design and management of projects as well as the overall management of the firm. Jerry is a frequent design critic at the Savannah College of Art and Design, regularly serves as a topic adviser to thesis students, and as a mentor to architectural interns.

 

Jerry is a 50 year resident of Savannah’s Historic Landmark District and has operated his architectural practice there for over 40 years, the first five as a partner in another firm, 27 years as Lominack Associates Architects, and now as a partner in Lominack Kolman Smith Architects.
